Ruby Mastery Continued (and GIANT PIZZA)
Day 5 was quiet, just more of the same. We continued to work through the ruby mastery quizzes. They were getting harder, more complex and taking more time per quiz. I managed to get through Chapter 7 and 8 fairly trouble free, whenever I faced something I didn’t know I was able to either work out or Google an answer to my problem. Once I had an answer I worked back to understand why what I had put did work so I would know for the future.
By the end of Day 5 I had started Chapter 9’s quiz and made good progress, my program was almost fully working, so I was really happy, I didn’t know what was coming on Monday!
At the end of the day, the coaches at Makers had ordered in pizza for everyone to celebrate the end of our first week. I grabbed a beer, went to grab a slice, and couldn’t believe my eyes. The pizza was huge. I have never seen a pizza this big, let alone about 6 of them. You had to hold a slice with two hands, otherwise there was no way you could wield the unruly beast. It was pretty tasty too, but the sheer scale of the pizza was magnificent. Absolute Unit.
